While the fight against ableism is everyday more present, we as a society still fail to grant everyone the inclusion that they deserve. Nowadays the discrimination against disabled people has taken a more paternal and well intended-looking twist. In a benign, but still uniformed way, disabled adults are still infantilised, treated like children who cannot be trusted in making decisions, not even the most intimate ones, like their gender identity or their sexual orientation. The intend of this artwork is to reaffirm everyone’s’ right to define their own identity, desire and love.
